Fun fact of the day: Fancy private universities take up far more of a person's time than do community colleges. Just saying.

Back in the days of Sims 1, I used to make a ton of meshes for my own personal use, but once Sims 2 rolled around... Well... Frankly put, it was an enormous, tedious, boring pain in the butt. The very first 'How-to's felt longer than a roll of toilet paper, and thus my attention span wavered. So, I set it on the back burner, and basically forgot all about it. Due to some wonderful, talented, determined programmers, the entire process has been cut down to about 10 steps! Finally it feels like a hobby again, as opposed to work. So, without further babbling, I present to you, my very first mesh:

The mesh is based on one of the formal teen outfits from Glamour Life. I always liked the general style and cut, but it was so darn poofy I rarely used it. Well, here it is, significantly slimmed down, and no stuff pack necessary. Rather than spitting out this new mesh with old Maxis textures, I decided to make four new textures with very different patterns. As usual, I can't take any credit for the fabric patterns, as they belong to their respective companies and artists.

Feel free to do whatever you please with this mesh as long as it remains free. Some credit would be nice too.  Wink

Very nice for a summer dress or semi-formal dinner out. If I knew anything about recolours, it might be nice to have a solid colour or two as well.

I'm glad you decided to have a go at meshing Dylan, I've always enjoyed your sims 2 creativity and sense of colour.

Lovely! I think the blue is my fave, but as for second fave, I'm torn between the lilac and teal.
