Actually, it's more of a problem with staying logged in. Every time I visit here, I must log in again, even though I always set my login duration to Forever, and so clicking 'Show unread posts since last visit' of course shows nothing, and I must go digging through the various sections to find new posts. This is very frustrating. Do I need to clear my browser cache or something?

NotVery, I have always had the same thing, my account doesn't stay logged in. Firefox puts in the password and username, so I just have to click submit each time. I believe there is a software upgrade planned but they had some problems with the last one.

As for unread posts, I click that, then I click 'show all unread posts' and that gives me the new ones. You could try that in the interim.

No, it's not a cookie problem. I use Firefox and all my other sites are fine. I think it's a laverwinkle specialty.  Embarrassed

Reggikko said they'd had a problem upgrading the software, so I wonder if there's a wee glitch somewhere. Regg said it is on the 'to do' list.

We've also had lots of problems with bot registrations, so maybe something has been turned off.

Interesting.  Internet Explorer keeps me logged in at work, but I don't know if Firefox is doing the same at home.  I will check it out later.

I'm logged in with Firefox, as are Craig and Dylan and we don't have any problems. Weird.

I may try to upgrade this weekend, if I can get up the courage!

I use Firefox as well and haven't had any problems...

(not particularly useful I suppose, but perhaps eliminates FF as the problem)

I use Avant Browser and I have had no problems with logins at any site.

The usefulness of this post is pretty low.

That's OK FB, we know you're just working on your post count, if you get to 50 posts we'll think of some title or picture to give you, don't you worry about that.   Cool

I have tried turning off the 'log me in forever' bit, then turning it on again, I've been through all the options in my CP in the past, so I don't know why it does this. I've just got used to it.  Cheesy

Looks like it's probably not a browser issue anyway.

It doesn't seem to be a browser issue. I use Firefox and don't have this problem with any other sites.

I looked through the forum settings and found an option that may help with this issue. Let me know if it works.

I still had to login again just now Regg.

I suppose it would take effect after this login. The setting has to do with cookie storage. Let me know, though.
